Main functions of UPVC window and door profiles
1. Heat preservation and energy saving.
The multi-cavity structure of UPVC profiles provides excellent thermal insulation and low heat transfer coefficients, only 1/357 of steel and 1/1250 of aluminum. Its economic and social benefits are enormous.
2. Air tightness. All cracks of UPVC Windows&Doors are equipped with rubber and plastic sealing strips and wool strips, so their air tightness is much higher than aluminum alloy doors and Windows.
The air tightness of UPVC Casement Windows is higher than that of push-pull Windows. Under normal circumstances, the air tightness of casement window can reach five levels, and the push-pull window can reach two levels.
3. Water tightness. Because UPVC profile has a unique multi-cavity structure, all have independent drainage cavity. Whether frame or fan water can be effectively discharged.
The water tightness of UPVC casement Windows is much higher than that of push-pull Windows.
Under normal circumstances, the water tightness of horizontal Windows can reach level 5, and push-pull Windows can reach level 3 to level 4.
4. Wind pressure resistance. In the independent plastic cavity can be filled with 1.5~3MM thick steel lining. And according to the local wind pressure value, the height of the building, the size of the hole, window design to select the thickness of steel and profile series, in order to ensure the requirements of the building to the type of doors and Windows. Large sliding Windows or inward casement Windows are available for high-rise buildings with wind compression strength of more than six degrees. Low-rise buildings can choose outward Casement window or small size push-pull window, the wind pressure strength is generally at three levels.
